I’d intended to start much earlier and to write for a few hours. Instead, I celebrated the new year by sleeping until nearly noon, watching a couple movies with my kids, editing an older manuscript, submitting a piece to a magazine, chatting with friends and generally … NOT writing. Oh well. I almost didn’t think I’d get my hour in today. 1500 words in a hour is good, no?
